Shoes are a part of our intimacy: more than just clothing, they often represent us, culturally and socially. They carry us and accompany us throughout our lives. Our steps wear them down, shape them, literally sculpt them, and the leather or fabric is marked with our imprint, with our experiences.
Many of us own a pair of shoes that represents an important moment in our lives, marking a specific event. We are attached to them even if we no longer wear them. The same is true for our children's little shoes.
I propose that we create a portrait of these shoes and objects that we love.
I paint on commission and from photos.

Technique: acrylic and oil on stretched canvas.

The shoes one wears are a part of oneself: more than just a garment, they often are a social and cultural representation of us. They support and accompany us through life. Shaped and worn out by our steps. Life leaves its mark on the leather and the fabric.

Many of us have a pair of shoes reflecting an important moment of our paths, a certain point in our lives. We treasure them though we don't wear them anymore.

The same applies for our children shoes.

I offer you the portraits of these shoes we love.

On request, using photographs.

Technique: acrylic and oil on canvas frames
